Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will be looking to continue his blistering Champions League form when Galatasaray face Monaco at the Stade Louis-II on Tuesday night, Bold Sports reports.
Osimhen has been nothing short of sensational in Europe this season, netting six goals in just three appearances for the Turkish champions who have also had a remarkable campaign so far.
The Nigerian International opened his account with the winning goal in a 1–0 victory over Liverpool, followed by a clinical brace in the 3–1 win against Bodo/Glimt. He then delivered another brilliant man of the match performance, netting a hat-trick as Galatasaray swept aside Ajax 3–0.
His impact on Okan Buruk’s side has been undeniable as Galatasaray have won all three matches in which Osimhen has featured, but suffered both of their defeats, a heavy 5–1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt and a 1–0 defeat against Union St. Gilloise, without their star forward on the pitch.

Osimhen’s red-hot form has also propelled him to second place in the Champions League scoring charts, trailing only Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, who has nine goals from five games.
On the other hand, Monaco, currently 23rd in the league phase standings with six points, are in desperate need of a result to keep their qualification hopes alive.
The French side have drawn both of their home fixtures so far, a goalless stalemate with Tottenham and a thrilling 2–2 contest against Manchester City. They will now be pushing for a first home win of the campaign.
