Assisat Oshoala grabbed a brace for Barcelona Femini in their 3-0 comfortable win over Sporting Club Huelva on Saturday to extend their unbeaten run in the season to 14 games.
The Super Falcons star opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a well placed header while Mariona Caldentey made it 2-0 10 minutes later in the 31st minute with the champions going into the half time break with a two-goal lead.
Barca’s dominance continued in the second half with Oshoala putting the ball behind the net for Barca’s third goal in the 57th minute to put the game beyond their hosts. The brace takes Oshoala’s tally of the season to seven.
The leaders could have made it 4-0 through Salma Paralluelo but her effort hit the woodwork.
Barca’s next game will be against Real Madrid in a Spanish Super Cup semi-final on Thursday.
