Gabe Vincent leads Heat to consecutive win against Bucks

D’Tigers guard, Gabe Vincent, for the second consecutive game led the Miami Heat in scoring, contributing 27 points in their 111-97 win over the Milwaukee Bucks who were without All-Star player Giannis Antetokounmpo for the second game in a row because of left knee soreness.

Vincent on Thursday recorded his highest scoring game in the NBA when he scored 28 points in their 108-102 victory over the Bucks.

The26-year-old contributed 27 points on 11-of-14 shooting, three rebounds, two assists and five steals (career-high). He scored 21 of his 27 points in the first half while shooting 5-on-6 from the three point line.

Bam Adebayo scored 20 points in the game also adding 13 rebounds and two assists while Victor Oladipo polled 20 points, two rebounds and five assists in the win which is their 23rd of the season.

Reacting to the victory, Vincent appreciated his teammates for finding him whenever he’s open to take shots.

“My guys are the reason I’ve been doing well. They get the ball to me when I’m in the right spot and I’m happy to see the ball go in,” Vincent said after another impressive performance at the FTX Arena.

Vincent became the first undrafted player in the NBA to drop 25+ points and 5+ steals in a game since Jeremy Lin in 2016.
