Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has invited 20 players for Saturday’s international friendly against France.
The squad includes goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defenders Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre, midfielders Christy Ucheibe and Jennifer Echegini, and forwards Gift Monday and Rinsola Babajide.
Other notable call-ups are US-based defender Michelle Alozie, Turkey-based Oluwatosin Demehin, midfielder Adoo Yina, and forwards Mercy Omokwo and Ifeoma Onumonu.
The match will take place at Stade Raymond Kopa in Angers, with kick-off at 9:30 p.m. France time.
Everton midfielder Toni Payne joins the squad alongside Rofiat Imuran and Shukurat Oladipo, who represented Nigeria at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia. Captain Rasheedat Ajibade misses out due to injury.
The friendly serves as preparation for the Super Falcons’ campaign at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. France will use the match to gear up for the Nations League and UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifiers.
