Highly-rated Nigerian youngster Isaiah Chinedu has completed a big move to Czech giants Slavia Prague on a five-year deal from Right2Win Sports Club, the academy announced on Saturday.

In an official statement released via their X (formerly Twitter) handle, Right2Win confirmed the transfer, describing it as a proud moment for the player and the academy.

“We are delighted to announce that Isaiah Chinedu has completed a move to Slavia Prague on a five-year deal from Right2Win,” the statement read.

“The talented right wing-back now embarks on an exciting new chapter in his career, and we are incredibly proud of his journey and progress.”

The move marks another completed deal between Right2Win and Slavia Prague, following the earlier transfer of attacking midfielder Mubarak Emmanuel Suleiman to the Czech Republic side in September.

Right2Win, one of Nigeria’s fast-rising football academies, has built a reputation for nurturing top talents and securing international opportunities for its players. Recently, Ndubuisi Moses Okeke completed a permanent switch to Slovak top-flight club FK Železiarne Podbrezová, while academy graduate Ogbonna Stanley Chizurum joined French side Strasbourg (BlueCo).

For Chinedu, the move offers a chance to develop further in a competitive European environment. He will be joining Nigerian duo Igoh Ogbu and David Moses, who recently made his UEFA Champions League debut for Slavia Prague, making his adaptation to life in the club smoother.

The promising right wing-back will be hoping to integrate quickly into the Czech outfit and will be aiming to establish himself as a key player for the club in the coming years.
