The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially opened applications for the position of Head Coach of the U-20 men National Team, the Flying Eagles.
According to a public notice posted on the NFF’s website, interested applicants must meet several key criteria.
The federation requires candidates to hold at least a CAF B License and have been actively coaching for the last five years. Familiarity with Nigerian leagues is also essential.
The NFF also added that the required candidate must have strong leadership qualities and efficient communication in English. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate uprightness and transparency in their duties, as well as a willingness to collaborate with the NFF Technical Department and Technical Committee.
A crucial factor in the selection process is recent coaching success. The federation specifies that applicants must have achieved a considerable level of success in coaching within the last three years. The ability to work cordially with NFF leadership is also highlighted as a key requirement.
The application process is open to all Nigerian coaches, including those based abroad.
Interested parties have until 6pm on Sunday, August 4, 2024, to submit their applications to the office of the General Secretary. The NFF plans to conduct a thorough screening process before naming the successful candidate.
