D’Tigress center Murjanatu Musa has been named to the 2025/26 All-EuroLeague Women Second Team following her outstanding performances for Basket Landes in the recently concluded campaign.

Musa is listed alongside top performers including Jessica Shepard of Famila Basket Schio, Mariam Coulibaly of Landerneau Bretagne Basket, Gabby Williams of Fenerbahçe Women’s Basketball, and Mariona Ortiz of Basket Zaragoza.

The 25-year-old enjoyed an impressive season, playing a key role in guiding Basket Landes to the quarter-finals of the EuroLeague Women, where they were eventually eliminated by Basket Zaragoza.

Musa now has the opportunity to secure her second silverware with the club when Basket Landes face ESB Villeneuve-d’Ascq in the final of the French Basketball Cup Women on Saturday. Murjanatu Musa EuroLeague Women Second Team selection shows her growth in basketball from a humble beginning in Nigeria.

However, her club commitments mean she will miss D’Tigress’ upcoming tune-up fixtures against WNBA sides – Los Angeles Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, and Indiana Fever – as the Nigerian national team intensifies preparations for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup scheduled for September in Berlin.
