Milan prioritise Chukwueze signing

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have made the signing of Villarreal and Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze, a top priority this summer.

The Rossoneri have already captured the signature of Reuben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea and are also in advanced talks to bring in Christian Pulisic also from Chelsea however, one of their top priority is to acquire the services of Chukwueze to improve their flanks, especially from the right.

Milan is also considering Wolves winger Adama Traore but that will only be activated if they fail in their bid to bring in the 24-year-old Nigerian who has been valued at €30 million by the Yellow Submarines.

With just one year left on his current contract and no discussion on a possible extension in sight, Villarreal will be looking to cash in on the Nigerian who is also on the radar of Premier League side Aston Villa managed by former Villarreal boss, Unai Emery. Manchester United and other EPL clubs are also hoping to land the tricky Nigerian.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri hierarchy wants to see Chukwueze on the right wing next season and the potential signing of Pulisic will not affect their interest in him as he remains their No. 1 target on the flanks.

Chukwueze scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 50 games across all competitions for the Yellow Submarines last season.
