Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho played his debut game for Sevilla in their 4-1 pre-season loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
Iheanacho started the game which was played at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium.
Diogo Jota put Liverpool 1-0 ahead before Luis Diaz scored two more goals, taking the hosts 3-0 up at half time.
While Iheanacho didn’t come back for the second half, compatriot Chidera Ejuke was introduced at the beginning of the second half.
Ejuke was instrumental in Sevilla’s only goal, creating the assist for Gerard Fernandez, who pulled one goal back for the Spanish side.
Trey Nyoni, 17, put Liverpool three goals up against, scoring a half-volley.
