Four-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions Kano Pillars have announced the signing of former Sporting Lagos coach Paul Offor on a two-year deal.
Offor, who was unveiled by the Sai Masu Gida on Friday, will be hoping to return the club to its glory days, starting with the 2024/25 campaign.
Offor led newly formed Sporting Lagos to their first-ever NPFL promotion, featuring in the topflight league in the 2023/24 season. However, he was sacked by the club with 8 games left in the season, with the team languishing in relegation waters.
During his time at Sporting Lagos, Offor led the team to their first-ever topflight promotion and also managed them to win the Naija Super 8 preseason tournament in Lagos.
Kano Pillars finished 10th in the NPFL last season after their return from the Nigeria National League. Pillars last won the NPFL a decade ago.
