Inter Milan have submitted an improved offer to Atalanta for Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman, in a renewed push to finalise the transfer swiftly, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bold Sports reports.

The new bid from the Nerazzurri is reportedly valued at €40 million plus an additional €5 million in add-ons — an increase from their earlier €40 million flat offer.

Despite the revised proposal, Atalanta remain firm on their valuation of the Nigeria International, holding out for a €50 million fee. As things stand, no agreement has been reached between the two clubs.

Inter could be forced to walk away from the deal if Atalanta reject the latest offer, with club president Giuseppe Marotta having already indicated that they will shift their attention elsewhere if an agreement is not found this week.

Inter Milan view Lookman as an ideal fit for their sporting project and believe his qualities could significantly boost their title ambitions, particularly after finishing behind Napoli last season. His European pedigree is also seen as a valuable asset, having shone in the Champions League last season.

Lookman has been a standout performer since joining Atalanta, registering 52 goals and 25 assists in 118 appearances. He etched his name into the club history by scoring a hat-trick in the 2024 UEFA Europa League final, helping the club secure its first-ever European trophy.
