Super Eagles stars once again made headlines across Europe over the weekend, with Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu, and Tolu Arokodare all delivering notable performances for their clubs in Turkey and England.

Paul Onuachu continued his excellent scoring run in the Turkish Super Lig, netting twice to guide Trabzonspor to a commanding 3–0 victory over Samsunspor. The Super Eagles striker opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, rising above his marker to power home a header that found its way into the net. He thought he had added another shortly after the break, but the effort was disallowed following a VAR review.

Unfazed, Onuachu eventually secured his second goal in the 81st minute with a composed finish from close range. His display underlined his importance to Trabzonspor’s attacking setup and further extended his impressive form this season.

Victor Osimhen was also on target as Galatasaray recorded a convincing 3–0 win against Çaykur Rizespor. With his side already two goals ahead, the Nigerian striker sealed the victory in the 73rd minute. Osimhen showed calmness and awareness, evading the goalkeeper before slotting the ball into an empty net from a tight angle, recording his 15th goal of the season.

Despite receiving a late first-half yellow card, he remained on the pitch throughout the match and continued his strong scoring record across all competitions this season.

In England, Tolu Arokodare provided a bright moment for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their Premier League clash against Chelsea. Although Wolves suffered a 3–1 defeat, the Nigerian forward pulled one goal back in the 54th minute after a well-timed attacking move. His strike ended a lengthy goal drought and served as a reminder of his attacking presence.

Overall, it was a productive weekend that showcased the impact of Nigerian stars across Europe’s major leagues.
