George Ilenikhena has reacted after his standout display for Al-Ittihad against Al-Nassr on Saturday. The Nigerian forward scored twice in the 2-1 Saudi Pro League victory. He also collected the Man of the Match award, Bold Sports reports.
Ilenikhena has made a strong start to the 2026/27 campaign. The 20-year-old has scored five goals in six appearances across all competitions. His latest brace came after he also found the net against Al-Qadsiah and scored twice against Al-Najma.
The Nigerian forward opened the scoring after just four minutes. He reacted fastest after Nawaf Al-Aqidi saved a close-range effort.
Ilenikhena struck again in the 22nd minute. Houssem Aouar provided the pass for his second goal.
His two goals proved decisive for Al-Ittihad. The club held on for a 2-1 victory over their rivals.
After the match, Ilenikhena reflected on his performance. He also thanked the Al-Ittihad supporters for their backing.

Ilenikhena joined Al-Ittihad during the winter transfer window. The Saudi club signed him as a replacement for Karim Benzema.
