D’Tigers guard, Gabe Vincent is expected to return for the Los Angeles Lakers in their 2023/24 season opener against defending champions, the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday at the Ball Arena in Colorado.
Vincent missed the Lakers’ last three tune-up games where they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Phoenix Suns, and the Golden State Warriors. He scored 18 points in their win over the Sacramento Kings in a 109-101 win on October 12.

According to reports, Vincent missed out on the games due to back tightness, however, he is expected to return for their season opener, although, not in the starting five but would deputize for D’Angelo Russel who has impressed during the tune-up games.
Forward Jarred Vanderbilt and rookie guard Jalen Hood-Schifino may miss out on the game against the Nuggets due to a heel injury and a knee ailment, respectively.
The 27-year-old guard joined the Lakers on a three-year contract worth $33 million after the expiration of his contract with the Miami Heat who he helped lead to the finals of the 2022/23 NBA campaign.
