Nigerian winger Funsho Bamgboye has signed a two-year deal with Turkish Süper Lig club Hatayspor, with an option to extend for another year.
Hatayspor announced the signing on Friday after Bamgboye completed a medical at Acıbadem Fulya Hospital in Istanbul. He joined on a free transfer.
The former Nigeria U-17 player joins Hatayspor from Romanian club Rapid București, where he impressed last season with 8 goals and 9 assists in 54 games across all competitions.
“Welcome to Atakaş Hatayspor, Funsho Ibrahim Bamgboye! We signed a 2+1-year contract with 25-year-old winger Bamgboye, who played for Rapid Bucharest, one of the Romanian 1st Teams, last season,” Hatayspor’s Sports Director Fatih Kavlak said at the unveiling ceremony.

Bamgboye, who previously played for Hungarian sides Haladás and Fehérvár, will be looking to establish himself in the Turkish league with Hatayspor next season.
