Victor Osimhen on Thursday joined the Super Eagles camp after he completed his loan move to Turkish giants on Wednesday ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic.
The 25-year-old was the last player to arrive after Kelechi Iheanacho had earlier joined their teammates a day before to bring the total number of players in camp to 23.
Osimhen was in time to take part in the team’s training session Thursday evening.
The Eagles will face Benin Republic in the first round of games for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, up on Saturday.
It will be another reunion with former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr who defeated the Eagles 2-1 in the 2026 World Cup qualifier in Ivory Coast in June.
