Samuel Chukwueze’s AC Milan is set to clash with Slavia Prague in the Europa League round of 16. The Czech Republic side boasts two Nigerian players, Igho Ogbu and Muhamed Tijani, in their squad.
The draw for this matchup took place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday. Milan, having been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League, progressed to the Europa League round of 16 by defeating Rennes in the knockout round.

Slavia Prague secured their spot in the round of 16 by finishing at the top of Group G, ahead of AS Roma, Servette, and Sheriff Tiraspol.
Nigerian defender Ogbu played every minute of Slavia Prague’s group-stage matches, scoring two goals, while Tijani scored once in three games, appearing as a substitute in each.
Chukwueze’s Milan will be looking to gain an early advantage in the two-legged tie, starting with the first leg at the San Siro on March 7. The return leg is scheduled for March 14.
Chukwueze will be hoping to prove himself to the Milan faithful after a slow start to life for the Italian giants. He will also be looking to claim his second Europa League crown having previously won one with his former team Villarreal.
