Italian Serie A side Lazio are open to considering concrete offers for midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru in the January transfer window after the player failed to make a strong impression at the club, Bold Sports reports.

The Nigeria international joined the Biancocelesti from Turkish side Hatayspor ahead of the 2024/25 season but has struggled to find consistency since his debut campaign. The 2025/26 season was expected to be his breakthrough year; however, after a sluggish start, he suffered a hamstring injury that has kept him out since September.

According to reports from Italy, although Dele-Bashiru is well-liked within the club, he is not considered indispensable. Lazio are believed to be open to letting him leave for the right offer in January.

Upon his recovery, Dele-Bashiru is expected to rejoin the squad and attempt to prove his worth. There will be ample opportunity for him to do so, especially with midfielder Nicolò Rovella sidelined for a considerable period as he prepares to undergo groin surgery after alternative treatments failed.

Several reports also suggest that the Nigeria international has struggled to adapt to the mezzala role (a central midfielder operating toward the left) despite multiple attempts.
