Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze says Fulham will give everything when they host Crystal Palace on Sunday as he reflected on scoring his first-ever Premier League goals for the Cottagers, Bold Sports reports.

The 26-year-old has hit top form since joining Fulham on loan from AC Milan, contributing two goals and two assists in his last three league appearances, including a remarkable six-minute brace in a dramatic 5–4 loss to Manchester City on Tuesday.

Speaking to FFC TV, Chukwueze praised the squad’s resilience despite the defeat.

“It was a crazy game. First half, we didn’t dominate the game, we didn’t play the way we wanted to play, it was difficult. First 10 minutes of the second half was a little bit difficult also. But I like the spirit from the players and the coach, because we believed and we fought back, although we didn’t get the last goal.”

“I have to give credit to the players for believing, for pushing. It was a good atmosphere on Tuesday. We just have to keep our heads up and keep working.”

While the Nigerian winger finally opened his Premier League account, he insists the goals mean little without a positive result.

“I was happy and unhappy because we lost. If I got the two goals and we drew or won, then I’ll be so happy but now the two goals don’t count because we lost. I have to keep that in mind, believe I haven’t scored any goal yet. I have to score the one that will get us three points. That’s the most important thing.”

Chukwueze has quickly become one of Fulham’s most productive attackers, leading the team in both big chances created and shots on target. He credits his improvement to the trust and demands from Fulham’s coach Marco Silva.

“I’m so happy with my form. The coach is pushing me and is keeping me focused no matter the game. Everyday is a new day, you have to be ready at any moment to give everything.”

His impact has not gone unnoticed by supporters, with many already calling for Fulham to make his loan deal permanent.

“They’re amazing fans, they love me and I think I love them more than they do. For them to stay from 5-1 till the last minute of the game, they deserve more wins. They deserve to be at the top.”

Fulham have been strong at Craven Cottage, suffering only two league defeats at home all season to Arsenal and Manchester City. Chukwueze believes that form gives them confidence heading into Sunday’s clash against another in-form side Crystal Palace.

“In our home, we are good. Since I came we haven’t lost any game asides from Arsenal and Manchester City. We are strong in that aspect. Against Crystal Palace, we’ll give them the respect they deserve, they’re strong also but I think we can give everything in the game.”
