Christantus Uche’s stunning trivela strike against KuPS Kuopio has been voted the UEFA Europa Conference League Fans’ Goal of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign.

The Nigeria international opened the scoring for Crystal Palace in the fifth minute of their 2-2 draw with the Finnish side during the league phase of the competition in December 2025.

The spectacular effort was one of two goals scored by the Super Eagles midfielder during Palace’s successful Conference League campaign, which culminated in the club lifting the trophy. It also proved to be Uche’s final appearance in the competition, as he later fell out of favour with manager Oliver Glasner.

Shakhtar Donetsk’s Isaque Silva finished second in the voting with his acrobatic overhead kick against Lech Poznań in the Round of 16. Rayo Vallecano’s Florian Lejeune claimed third place for his long-range strike against Drita during the league phase.

Samsunspor’s Aboubakary Koita took fourth with a brilliant solo effort against AEK Athens, while Rayo Vallecano’s Alemao rounded out the top five with a thunderous long-range goal against Samsunspor in the Round of 16.

Uche’s winning goal showcased both skill and composure. Receiving the ball just outside the penalty area, he beat his marker with a clever dribble before curling a sublime trivela effort beyond the goalkeeper and into the net.
