The Super Falcons have been paired with Algeria, Botswana, and Tunisia in Group B of the 13th edition of the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations which will take place from July 5 to July 26, 2025, in Morocco.
The draw for the upcoming continental tournament was conducted on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Salé.
The 11-time champions finished at fourth place in 2022, losing to Morocco in the semifinals before losing to Zambia in the third place playoff. However, this year, they will be hoping to dominate the continent once again.
In Group A, the host nation, Morocco will be looking to make a strong impression in front of their home crowd as they go against Zambia, Senegal, and DR Congo.
Meanwhile, in Group C, the defending champions, South Africa will look to defend their title against stiff competition from Ghana, Mali, and Tanzania.
