Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is still expected be on the move this summer, with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen emerging as the latest club to express interest in signing him from Leicester City, according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs.
Despite currently being part of Leicester City’s pre-season squad and possibly featuring in their upcoming friendly against Zalaegerszeg, the 28-year-old remains open to a summer transfer.
Manchester United have reportedly held preliminary talks with Ndidi’s camp and discussed potential personal terms. However, the Red Devils are prioritising a new striker, and any midfield additions could depend on player departures.

Everton are among several Premier League clubs, including two unnamed sides, who have approached the Nigerian international in hopes of luring him to stay in the top flight following Leicester’s relegation.
Ndidi has also attracted interest from abroad, with Real Betis, Juventus, and clubs from Saudi Arabia having explored the possibility of a move. The midfielder has a £9 million relegation release clause in his current deal.
Last season, Ndidi made 30 appearances across all competitions for Leicester, scoring once and providing five assists. Since arriving at the club, he has racked up 303 appearances, contributing 18 goals and 22 assists.
