Barcelona Femini are celebrating Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala’s century goals with the club and the fourth year anniversary of signing for the club.
Oshoala joined the Spanish Women’s Primera División champions from Chinese side Dalian Quanjian in 2019. The 28-year-old had linked-up with the Catalan side on loan in 2019 before making the move permanent later that season.
To reach a century of goals for the Spanish giants in four years, the Super Falcons star scored 78 goals in La Liga, 11 in the Champions League, 5 in the Copa de la Reina, 4 in the Spanish Super Cup and 2 in the Copa Catalunya. It should be remembered that, together with Geyse, she is the current Pichichi of Liga F.
Oshoala is the fourth player to reach 100 goals with Barça. Only Jenni Hermoso (181), Alexia Putellas (178) and Sonia Bermúdez (123) have scored more than the Nigerian at the club.
The Spanish team wrote, “This Tuesday marks exactly four years since the signing of Asisat Oshoala by Barça. A happy birthday, as the Nigerian striker is in full swing, after scoring two consecutive hat-tricks in La Liga, against Levante Las Planas and at Granadilla.”
