Arthur Okonkwo names Enyeama, Okocha, Osimhen in all time Super Eagles XI

Arthur Okonkwo has named Vincent Enyeama, Jay Jay Okocha and Victor Osimhen in his all time Super Eagles XI.

The newly invited goalkeeper is expected to make his Super Eagles debut at the 2026 Unity Cup after completing his switch to represent Nigeria internationally.

Born in London to Nigerian parents, Okonkwo previously represented England at youth level. He featured for the U-15s through to the U-18s, before opting to pledge his international future to Nigeria.

On the pitch, Arthur Okonkwo is regarded as the future of Nigeria’s goalkeeping position. Off the pitch, the 24-year-old has shown his knowledge of the national team during a recent interview shared on the official Super Eagles’ X page.

In his all time Super Eagles XI, Arthur Okonkwo selected legendary goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama in goal. Former captain William Troost-Ekong and Calvin Bassey were named as his defenders. Ola Aina and Elderson Echiéjilé were named as fullbacks.

In midfield, Okonkwo selected captain Wilfred Ndidi, John Obi Mikel and Jay Jay Okocha. Former Chelsea winger Victor Moses, Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen, and Ademola Lookman were named as his forwards.

Arthur Okonkwo made 39 appearances for Wrexham this season, keeping nine clean sheets. Now with the Super Eagles, he will be looking to make an impression in the upcoming fixtures as he pushes to claim the first choice goalkeeping spot.
