2026 Unity Cup: 14 players arrive at Super Eagles camp in London

14 players have arrived at the Super Eagles camp in London ahead of the 2026 Unity Cup set to take place from May 26 to May 30.

The early arrivals include all eight Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) players invited by head coach Eric Chelle.

Shooting Stars duo Tijani Al Ameen and Ayobami Junior, as well as Ikorodu City trio Michael Atata, Aderemi Adeoye and Tosin Oyedokun are among the domestic players in camp.

Rangers’ Chibueze Oputa, Obinna Igboke, and Elias Ochobi of Rivers United are also part of the early arrivals.

Newly-invited goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, Femi Azeez and Owen Oseni, as well as Philip Otele, Tochukwu Nnadi, and Terem Moffi complete the list of players who have arrived at the Super Eagles camp.

The rest of the Super Eagles squad are expected to arrive as soon as possible. The team will reportedly have their first training session on Saturday evening from 6pm. The training holds at Cray Valley FC, Middle Park Avenue, London SE9 5HP.

Nigeria, who are the reigning champions of the Unity Cup, will begin their title defence against Zimbabwe in the semifinals.

If they win, the Super Eagles will progress to the final, where they will face the winner of the second semifinal between Jamaica or India.
