Ademola Lookman etched his name into Nigerian football history after scoring for Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey Final against Real Sociedad. The match finished 2-2 after regulation time before Atletico suffered a 3-2 defeat on penalties at Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.

Sociedad struck first through Ander Barrenetxea within the opening minute. Atletico needed a response, and Lookman stepped up. He cut inside and fired a precise left-footed shot from the edge of the area into the bottom corner to restore parity.
