Ahead of Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash against Kano Pillars, Enyimba International head coach Finidi George has assured fans that his team is ready to fight for a favorable result.
The match, which will be played at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, is billed as a Zobia derby, given the rivalry between the two teams.
Finidi, a former Super Eagles player and well-decorated coach, is hopeful of returning to Aba with a positive result.

“We came here for a good result and to see how we can win and not lose. At least we have to go home with something,” he said.
Pillars, four-time NPFL champions, will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 3-0 loss to Sporting Lagos last week, while Enyimba will be hoping to continue their three-game unbeaten run in the league.
When the two teams met in the 2021/22 season, Enyimba ran out 4-0 winners in Aba, while Pillars triumphed 2-0 in the reverse fixture in Kano.
