Moses Simon has reached 100 appearances for Nigeria after featuring for the Super Eagles against Madagascar in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Bold Sports reports.
The forward made his Nigeria debut on March 25, 2015. Before Friday’s match, Simon had made 99 appearances and scored 12 goals for the Super Eagles. His latest appearance completes a decade-long journey with the senior national team.
Simon’s journey with the Super Eagles
Simon has been a consistent member of the Nigeria setup since making his debut. During his 99 appearances before the Madagascar game, the Super Eagles recorded 49 wins, 30 draws and 20 defeats.
He has also featured in important matches for Nigeria, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup preliminary qualifying fixture against Swaziland. Nigeria won the return leg 2-0 in Port Harcourt.

Simon’s 100th appearance now places him among the players who have reached the landmark for Nigeria at senior international level.
His journey from his debut in 2015 to becoming a centurion reflects his long-standing involvement with the Super Eagles.
