Alex Iwobi has made Premier League history after reaching 100 appearances for Fulham. The Nigeria international achieved the landmark during Fulham’s 3-2 loss to Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage on Saturday, Bold Sports reports.
Iwobi entered the game with 99 Premier League appearances for Fulham. He had already recorded 100 league appearances for Arsenal and 123 for Everton. The latest outing therefore took his total across the three clubs to 323 Premier League appearances.
The milestone places Iwobi in an exclusive Premier League group. Only four players had previously reached 100 appearances for three different clubs.
Gary Speed, Rory Delap, Gareth Barry and James Milner achieved the feat before him. Iwobi now becomes the fifth player to join that list.
The achievement adds another major chapter to Iwobi’s Premier League career. He began his top-flight journey with Arsenal after progressing through the club’s academy.
He later moved to Everton before joining Fulham in 2023. The midfielder has since established himself as an important part of the London club’s squad.
Iwobi started the match against Crystal Palace as Fulham looked for their first points of the season.
The hosts opened the scoring through Joshua King in the 11th minute. Palace responded through Tyrick Mitchell before César Palacios restored Fulham’s advantage shortly before half-time.
Mitchell struck again in the second half. His second goal brought Palace level at 2-2.
Ben Chilwell then completed the comeback in the 77th minute. He reacted quickly inside the box before finding the bottom-right corner.
Fulham pushed for an equaliser but could not rescue a point. The defeat leaves them still searching for their first points of the campaign.
For Iwobi, the result could not overshadow an important individual milestone. His 100th Fulham appearance has secured his place among the Premier League players to reach a century for three clubs.
