Rinsola Babajide and Shukurat Oladipo have won their first trophy with AS Roma after the club clinched the 2025/26 Italian Serie A Femminile title on Saturday.

The Super Falcons duo joined Roma in 2025 and, just about a year later, have emerged as champions, marking an impressive milestone in their careers.

The club were confirmed as league winners after their 2-0 victory over Ternana. A brace from midfielder Manuela Giugliano was enough to secure the win, ensuring they claimed the title with two games to spare.

It marks Roma’s third league trophy, and means the club have now won three of the last four Serie A Femminile titles. Their first two came in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 campaigns.

With the league secured, Roma will have a chance to win the domestic double for the second time in their history when they face Juventus in the Coppa Italia Women Final on May 24.

Shukurat Oladipo has played a major role in Roma’s impressive season. The 21-year-old center back has featured in 16 league matches so far, missing only four games.

Only five other Roma players have recorded more minutes in the league than the Nigerian International, who has played 1243 minutes in her first full season.

On the other hand, despite getting limited game time, Rinsola Babajide has provided three goal contributions in nine league appearances. Only four other players in the team have more.
