Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has been nominated for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award for March following an impressive run of form, Bold Sports reports.
The Nigerian international earned recognition for his consistent performances under Marco Silva, playing a key role in Fulham’s midfield throughout the month. Iwobi featured in four league matches, operating in a deeper role as the Cottagers recorded two wins, one draw, and one defeat.
One of his standout moments came in Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, where the 29-year-old scored a stunning goal and delivered a Player of the Match display. He also impressed in fixtures against West Ham United and Nottingham Forest, showcasing his influence and composure in midfield.

Iwobi further underlined his quality in Fulham’s 3-1 win over Burnley, where he completed more final-third passes than any other player in the league, highlighting his creative impact.
He faces stiff competition for the award, with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, and Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya also shortlisted.
Everton midfielder James Garner, Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon, and Brighton forward Danny Welbeck complete the list of nominees.
Supporters have until Monday, March 30 to vote for their preferred Premier League Player of the Month on the EA SPORTS website. The votes will be combined with the choices from a panel of experts to determine the winner, who will be revealed next week.
