Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has been shortlisted for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for February, two years after winning the same accolade.

‎Fulham confirmed that the Super Eagles midfielder is among seven players nominated for the monthly prize following his impressive strike during the club’s Premier League victory over Sunderland.

‎The Nigeria international scored Fulham’s third goal in their 3–1 win at the Stadium of Light, finding the net in the 85th minute to put the game beyond Sunderland’s reach. The goal came after the hosts pushed forward in search of an equaliser, leaving space at the back for Fulham to counter.

Harry Wilson led the break before delivering a perfectly timed pass to Iwobi, who calmly finished to seal the victory for Marco Silva’s side.

‎Interestingly, the nomination arrives exactly two years after Iwobi won Fulham’s February Goal of the Month award in 2024, highlighting his continued influence in front of goal.

‎Other players competing for the award this month include Raúl Jiménez, Kevin, Jonah Kusi-Asare, Harrison Reed, Anna Grey, and Macauley Zepa.
