Spanish ACB side Baskonia has signed Nigerian-born basketball star Eugene Omoruyi on a two-month contract, with an option to extend the deal through the end of the 2025/26 season.

The club announced the signing on Wednesday night, officially welcoming the Benin-born small forward to Spain.

Omoruyi, who went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft, has featured for several NBA teams and G-League affiliates, including the Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, Raptors 905, Texas Legends, OKC Blue, and, most recently Al Nasr Dubai.

The 28-year-old is available to make his debut today against Real Madrid in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague matchup at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, where he will be hoping to kick-start his European career on a bright note.

In his final G-League season, Omoruyi averaged 18.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.

Baskonia also unveiled Lithuanian forward Gytis Radzevičius as they look to bolster their roster in pursuit of a playoff spot in both the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague.
