Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has been shortlisted for the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World 11 following an outstanding year for both club and country, Bold Sports reports.

Alozie played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) triumph in Morocco earlier this year. The Houston Dash fullback delivered consistent performances throughout the tournament, scored the winning goal in the semifinal against South Africa, and was named in the team of the tournament.

Her fine form continued at club level, where she has been a regular feature for Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), earning plaudits for her defensive solidity and attacking contributions from the flanks.
