Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will face Ghana’s Black Starlets in the second semi-final of the WAFU-B U17 Championship at the Stade Charles Konan Banny, Yamoussoukro, on Tuesday, Bold Sports reports.
The five-time world champions finished top of Group B after collecting four points, scoring four goals and conceding only once. Their solid group-stage display underlines their readiness for a crunch clash against their familiar rivals.
Ghana, on the other hand, endured a shaky path to the last four. The Black Starlets drew 1-1 with Togo in their opener, fell 3-0 to hosts Côte d’Ivoire, and only sealed progression after two late goals earned them a dramatic 3-1 victory over Niger Republic.

Recent history favours Nigeria in this fixture. The Eaglets beat Ghana 4-2 in the opening match of the 2022 edition in Cape Coast, and again prevailed 3-2 in the bronze-medal game of the last tournament in Accra.
Victory on Tuesday would not only hand the Golden Eaglets a place in the final but also secure qualification for the 2026 Africa U17 Cup of Nations. Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm Nigeria time.
