Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala continued her impressive scoring streak on Friday, netting for the third game in a row while also providing an assist to help Al Hilal secure a convincing 3-0 victory over Neom SC in their Saudi Women’s Premier League clash.

Oshoala who already recorded two goals and one assist in her first two games for Al Hilal wasted no time in showing her class once again, assisting Al Bandari Mobarak to give the hosts the lead just 14 minutes into the game. Kheira Hamraoui scored in the 67th minute to make it 2-0 and Oshoala wrapped up the victory in the 85th minute.

The result means that Al Hilal have maintained their perfect start to the season with three wins in three games so far, taking them top of the table. They also remain one of three teams yet to lose a game in the league this season, alongside Al Nassr and Al Ittihad who face each other on Saturday.

Al Hilal will be hoping to keep their winning momentum going as they take on Al Ittihad in a blockbuster encounter on Thursday, October 2, with Oshoala set to line up against fellow Nigerians Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega.

For Neom SC, the defeat leaves them sixth on the standings with only one point. They have now lost two of their three games this season and will be desperate to avoid another defeat when they face Al Qadsiah in their next game on Friday, October 3.
