Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed some interesting facts about his former teammates, naming Nigerian legend Jay-Jay Okocha as one of the most skillful players he ever played with, and Haruna Babangida as the ex-teammate with the worst fashion sense, Bold Sports reports.
Arteta made these revelations during his unveiling as a Global Ambassador for Under Armour, where he was asked to share insights about his past teammates.
The Arsenal boss, who played alongside Okocha during his early days at Paris Saint-Germain, also mentioned Brazilian icon Ronaldinho as another contender for the most skillful player he ever shared a pitch with.

“The most skillful I played with was Ronaldinho or Jay-Jay Okocha. It’s difficult to pick between those two,” Arteta told SPORTbible.
However, another Nigerian player made his list for a less flattering reason. When asked about the best and worst-dressed teammates, the Gunners boss responded.

“The best was Frédéric Déhu when I was at PSG, and the worst was Haruna Babangida, the Nigerian player.”
Arteta also named Ronaldinho as the funniest ex-teammate, Mauricio Pochettino as the last player to leave the training ground, and Tomáš Rosický as the smartest. He further revealed that his current assistant coach, Gabriel Heinze, was the most superstitious player he ever played with.
