Galatasaray have officially confirmed the signing of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli in a blockbuster transfer deal that further cements the club’s ambitions both domestically and in Europe, Bold Sports reports.
The Turkish giants released an official statement on Thursday evening, revealing that they reached an agreement with SSC Napoli for the 26-year-old Nigerian, who returns to Istanbul following a sensational loan spell last season.
“Professional football player Victor James Osimhen has been transferred following an agreement reached with his former club, SSCN Napoli S.p.A,” the statement read.
The transfer fee was revealed to be €75,000,000, making it the most expensive deal in Turkish football history. In addition to the fee, Galatasaray also agreed to pay Napoli 10% of any future profit made from a potential sale of the player.
Osimhen signed a four-year contract with Galatasaray, which will begin from the 2025–2026 season. His arrival marks a significant statement of intent by the Super Lig champions ahead of the new campaign.
According to the club, Osimhen will earn a net annual guaranteed salary of €15,000,000 (₦26.29 billion). The striker will also receive a net loyalty bonus of €1,000,000 (₦1.75 billion) per season, and €5,000,000 (₦8.76 billion) annually for image rights.

The Nigerian international enjoyed an electric loan spell with Galatasaray last season, scoring 37 goals and providing seven assists across all competitions. His performances played a key role in guiding the club to a league and cup double, and earned him several individual accolades including the Golden Boot and Player of the Season.
