Turkish giants Galatasaray are closing in on a sensational €75 million deal for Victor Osimhen, with Napoli reportedly agreeing to terms that include a unique clause designed to prevent a move to rivals Juventus, Bold Sports reports.

According to Football Italia, multiple reports across Europe, including transfer insiders Matteo Moretto and Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, confirmed that Galatasaray have resolved initial hurdles surrounding financial guarantees. The Turkish champions will pay €40 million upfront, followed by two instalments of €17.5 million each before June 2026.

While the fee was already agreed last week, concerns remained over Galatasaray’s ability to provide timely payments. However, those concerns have now been addressed, and Napoli have reportedly greenlit the structure of the deal.

One of the standout features of the agreement is a €75 million penalty clause — specifically inserted to prevent Osimhen from joining any Serie A club within the next two years, especially Juventus. Napoli have long insisted that any release clause in Osimhen’s contract only applies to clubs outside Italy.

Osimhen, 25, has been left out of Napoli’s pre-season training camp, a strong indication that the transfer is nearing completion.

The only unresolved issue is Napoli’s demand for a 20% sell-on clause from any future transfer involving Osimhen. While Galatasaray are negotiating to have it removed, the Turkish club has not completely shut the door on the discussion.

The Super Eagles forward had been linked with Premier League clubs earlier in the summer.
