Fresh off scoring a decisive brace that secured Galatasaray’s first Turkish Cup in five seasons, Victor Osimhen stands on the cusp of another triumph. Just four days later, a win or even a draw against Kayserispor would be enough to clinch the Turkish Super Lig title for Galatasaray, with two games to spare.
Galatasaray currently commands the league table with an eight-point lead over their closest rivals, Fenerbahce, needing just a single point to be crowned champions.
The Turkish giants finalized their preparations for the crucial match with a training session held on Saturday at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Facilities.

Osimhen, on a season-long loan from Napoli, has been instrumental in Galatasaray’s stellar campaign. His remarkable tally of 24 goals in 28 league appearances has propelled the team towards their 25th Super Lig trophy.
Galatasaray have undeniably been the standout team in the Turkish league this season, a testament in large part to Osimhen’s brilliance. He has consistently posed a significant goal threat and currently leads the league in scoring.
Osimhen recently achieved a significant milestone with his two goals against Trabzonspor on Wednesday. This brace allowed him to surpass Mario Jardel’s record, set in 2000, to become the highest-scoring foreign player in Turkish football history.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a phenomenal season, amassing a career-high total of 35 goals, including 24 in the Trendyol Super League, 6 in the UEFA Europa League, and 5 in the Turkish Cup.
