Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina has been included in the WhoScored FA Cup team of the round after his impressive performance for Nottingham Forest in their quarter-final victory over Brighton on Saturday.
Despite playing 90 minutes for the Super Eagles few days before the FA Cup clash, Ola Aina remained resolute in defense, keeping Kaoru Mitoma quiet while completing five clearances, seven recoveries, and winning eight ground duels. He also showed his quality going forward, completing the most dribbles in the game (5).
After a hard-fought effort from Aina and the rest of his teammates, Nottingham Forest eventually defeated Brighton on penalties with Ryan Yates scoring the decisive spot kick, sending the team to their first FA Cup semi-final in 34 years.
The FA Cup team of the round features Bournemouth shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal, while Aina is joined in defense by teammate Nikola Milenkovic, Maxence Lacroix (Crystal Palace), and Pervis Estupinan (Brighton).
