Super Falcons defender Chinaza Uchendu has been shortlisted for Nantes’ Women’s Player of the Month award for March following her impressive performances for the club in March.

“The Yellow and Greens played four matches in March, recording three draws against Paris FC, Strasbourg, and Montpellier, along with a defeat to Dijon. Who will be your Canary Islander of the Month for March? Your choices are: Emily Burns, defender Maureen Cosson, and midfielder Andrea Recio,” the club announced.

Uchendu featured in three of the four matches and delivered standout performances despite not finding the back of the net.

The 27-year-old joined Nantes last summer from the Turkish side of Galatasaray.
