Victor Mbaoma joins Rwandan champions APR

Former Enyimba, Akwa United, and Remo Stars striker, Victor Mbaoma, has joined Rwandan Premier League champions Armée Patriotique Rwandaise Football Club on a two-year deal from Nigeria National League club Katsina United.

The Nigerian was brought in to improve the quality of the Rwandan side ahead of the 2023/24 league campaign as well as the CAF Champions League. With his help, APR FC will be looking to reach the group phase of the continental football showpiece for the first time in their history.

Announcing the signing of the Nigerian on their official website, the club noted that the 26-year-old will be a key part of the team in the forthcoming local and continental competitions.

“The 26-year-old Nigerian player Victor Mbaoma has signed for APR FC on a 2-year contract.

“This player has been through different teams such as Enyimba, MC Alger, and many others to help APR FC continue to perform well in different games as he will represent the country in the CAF Champions League international games.”

Mbaoma was one of the stars of the recently concluded Nigeria National League Super 8 promotion playoffs with Katsina United in Asaba.
