Union slam €15m on Victor Boniface suitors

After his breakout season and interest from top European sides, Belgian Jupiler title chasers Royale Union Saint-Gilloise have slammed €15m on striker Victor Boniface ahead of a potential summer move away from the club.

Boniface has been one of the stand out players for the Belgian side this season scoring 19 goals in 43 games across all competitions for the club while providing eight assists. Seven of his goals were scored in the league while he also added five goals in four appearances in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers and five goals in eight games in the Europa League and another two goals in four appearances in Belgian Cup games.

The 22-year-old has received suitors from France, Holland, Germany as well as Italy but while Union will be hoping to keep him on their books for another season, they may be forced to sell him if the price is right.

According to respected football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Belgian side has slammed up to €15m on the Nigerian and his price tag may also be increased if he gets offers from Premier League clubs.

“Victor Boniface, one to watch in summer as he’s expected to make his move after a huge season with Union St Gilloise. Boniface has scored 10 European goals this season with two assists — price tag will be around €10/15m.” Fabrizio Romano tweeted.

Boniface joined Union from Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt for €2m in the summer of 2022.
