Trabzonspor is set to offer a cash-and-player deal to Southampton for Nigerian international Paul Onuachu.
Onuachu, who joined Trabzonspor on loan in the summer, has been a standout player for the 2021/22 Turkish Super Lig champions, despite missing 12 games due to injury and international duty.

The lanky striker is Trabzonspor’s top scorer this season with 12 goals in 19 league appearances.
According to Turkish reports, Trabzonspor is willing to go all out to secure Onuachu’s services in the summer, although they may not meet Southampton’s €12 million valuation. They are, however, willing to offer a reduced price and add players to the deal.
Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan has expressed his desire to keep Onuachu at Papara Park, announcing that transfer negotiations have started with the English side.

However, Southampton has no intention of keeping the Nigerian striker on their books for next season and may sell him to the highest bidder if Trabzonspor fails to agree to their terms.
