The goal takes Arokodare’s tally to eight this season along with three assists in 25 games. Arokodare who joined the Belgian side during the second part of last season is beginning to find his feet in the Jupiler League and will be hoping to continue his impressive form when they travel to face Sporting Charleroi next Friday.

Tolu Arokodare made way for Andi Zeqiri in the 64th minute meanwhile, manager Wouter Vrancken says he is delighted with the result.

“The first twenty minutes you felt that it was difficult, then it was extra nice that the boys fought into the match,” Vrancken said after the match. “We recovered well in the second half. The only downside was that we didn’t finish the game early enough. This game was a must-win. It will be like that every week from now on. Next week we will continue to build on this result.”
