Tinubu appoints John Enoh as new Sports minister

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Senator John Enoh as the new Sports Minister while Abubakar Momoh has been named Minister of Youth.

The position which was previously known as the Ministry of Youth and Sports and last held by Sunday Dare has been split into two according to the ministerial appointment list which was obtained by Boldsportsng.com.

Born June 4, 1966, John Enoh was raised in Cross River State, the new minister was a senator in 2015 representing the Central Senatorial District of the state in the 8th Assembly. 

Aside from politics, Enoh owns numerous farms where he conducts arable and livestock production. The farming venture he started in 2000 has as of 2021 cultivated about 2000 hectares of cultivated land. 

Enoh’s farm spreads across various parts of Cross River State. About 150 hectares of planted palms in his native Agbokim Waterfalls; and expanding to about 100 hectares of planted palms, and counting, at Etara-Ekuri.
