Super Falcons eligible player Rinsola Babajide has been voted Real Betis Feminas’ Player of The Season for the just concluded Liga F 2022/23 season. 

Babajide earned 49.2% of 778 fans’ votes to be named the Slyer of The Season today. Angela Sosa came second with 38.4%, Violeta Quiles had 6.3% while  Grace Asantewaa finished fourth on the voting log with 6% of the votes. 

The 24-year-old former Liverpool player who joined Betis in 2022 had an impressive campaign with the Liga F side scoring six goals, two behind the club’s top scorer for the season, Angela Sosa.

Announcing the result on Twitter, the post read, “Voting is closed! The fans have decided that @rinss98 is the 𝗠𝗩𝗣 @herbalife of the season!”

Reacting to being voted the club’s best player for the season, Babajide on Twitter thanked the fans for the vote,  “Thanks to everyone that voted for me, love y’all.”

Born in England, Babajide has represented the country at youth level and is eligible to play for the Super Falcons due to her family background.
