Kiki Iriafen scored a career-high 22 points, powering the Washington Mystics to a commanding 103–86 victory over the Chicago Sky at the CareFirst Arena.
The rookie forward, alongside fellow first-year standout Sonia Citron, put on a clinic in the win, combining for an impressive 50 points as the Mystics notched their 13th win of the season.
In addition to her scoring milestone, Iriafen recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds, four assists, and two steals, showcasing her all-around impact. Citron was equally sensational, finishing with a career-high 28 points, along with two rebounds and two assists.

The dynamic duo made history, becoming the first rookie pair in franchise history to each score 20+ points in the same game.
Named Player of the Match, Iriafen praised her teammate for her performance and expressed excitement about their growing on-court chemistry.
“I’m so happy for Sonia. I think we needed a game like this, especially coming off a loss,” she said. “Sonia and I are getting our chemistry and synergy back; it’s only going to help us in the long run. I wanted her to get 40 points; she was on track at halftime.”
For the Sky, Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso both registered double-doubles. Reese led the team with 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Cardoso added 21 points and 10 boards. However, their efforts weren’t enough to prevent Chicago from slipping to another defeat.
