Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala continued her impressive run of form on Thursday, scoring her sixth goal of the season to help Al Hilal claim a 2–0 victory over Eastern Flames in the Saudi Women’s Premier League, Bold Sports reports.

The Nigerian International who has been a standout performer since joining Al Hilal broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute, reacting quickest to a rebound to hand the visitors a deserved lead.

Al Hilal doubled their advantage shortly after the restart, with Al Bandari Mobarak finding the net in the 62nd minute to seal the win in commanding fashion.

Despite the victory, Al Hilal remain second on the league table with 15 points from seven matches, three points behind leaders Al Nassr, who have a game in hand and boast a perfect record so far.

For Eastern Flames, the defeat worsened their terrible start to the season, as they have now lost all seven of their league fixtures.

Al Hilal’s next match is scheduled for 29 January 2026 against Al Qadsiah, while Eastern Flames will continue their search for a first point of the campaign when they take on Al Nassr a day later.

Oshoala’s strike moves her to six goals in seven matches, keeping her third in the league’s scoring charts behind Clara Luvanga (11 goals) and Adriana (10).
